About
After a year-long absence in the kitchen due to his position as
instructor at L’Academie de Cuisine, we are celebrating the
return of Gerard Pangaud as Executive Chef. Gerard is revamping the
menu, staffing the kitchen with former students he has formed and
will also be working a few nights a week himself at his namesake bistro
which aims to provide dishes using seasonal ingredients of the same
outstanding quality at a more affordable price than Gerard’s
Place with the same intimate ambience and attentive service.
Why a bistro? We understand that today, people are leading more casual
lifestyles and would like the opportunity to eat out more often. The
development of Gerard Pangaud Bistro is an attempt at accommodating
these changes. This is not to say that we are not keeping certain
select items we have become known for from our fine dining menu, as
well as still offering our five-course Chef’s Tasting Menu with
optional wine pairing.
Gerard Pangaud Bistro has even more to offer, though. We give you
the opportunity to host your private events at the restaurant. This
is your opportunity to see Gerard shine. He will design special menus
according to your wishes and budget which put the emphasis on his
creative talents. Favorite dishes you may remember from years past
at Gerard’s Place can be recreated for you and your guests at
these events which can be for anywhere from twenty to sixty people.
We welcome you to join us as we embark on this new venture with Gerard.
Call or make reservations online, we look forward to serving you.
